Windows 11 | Features
On 24th June, Microsoft officially launched Windows 11. Here we discuss the features and designs of Windows 11.
What's new:
Windows 11 will include a new UI, with a Start menu overhaul, performance improvements, and updates to improve multitasking. It even includes access to Android apps through Amazon’s Appstore.
The UI was
redesigned in windows 11. From the Start button, they modified everything.
This update comes with a wide range of modern icons
Widgets -
a new personalized feed powered by AI that brings you the news and information
you care about faster.
Microsoft Teams integration:
Windows 11
will include Microsoft Teams, Microsoft’s communications app, right in your
Start menu, and it’ll be integrated directly into Windows. Right-clicking the
(redesigned) Teams icon in Windows 11 shows many more options than are available
in Windows 10.
Android apps:
The new
Microsoft Store has been rebuilt for speed and with all new-design. Windows 11
bringing the android apps for the first time to the windows. Android apps are
found through Microsoft store and download via Amazon AppStore.
Gaming in Windows 11:
Windows 11
takes gaming to a new level with graphic capabilities that rival reality. Auto
HDR and DirectStorage are the two new features coming on Windows 11 to improve
how PCs handle gaming, and both were first introduced on the XBox Series
Console. Auto HDR makes gaming easier to turn on high dynamic range, if the
hardware supports it, in order to have the best visual experience.
DirectStorage loads a game’s assets directly to the graphics card instead of
through CPU to prevent the processor from being bogged down.
Windows 11 for Developers:
The
Windows App SDK (the new name for Project Reunion and WinUI 3) brings a unified
set of APIs and tools for developing desktop apps and web apps. Using
GameStack, find the tools and services used by PC game developers around the
world. The new Game Development Kit (GDK) offers access to the SDK with tools,
libraries, and documentation needed to build amazing games for Windows. Build
Progressive Web Apps (PWA) with PWABuilder 3, debug with PWA Support in the
Microsoft Edge Dev tools, and publish your PWA in the Store, including access
to new commerce tools and capabilities.

Windows 10 vs Windows 11:
Windows 11 has all the power and security of Windows 10 with a redesigned and refreshed look. It also comes with new tools, sounds, and apps.
Upgrade with Windows 11 from Windows
10:
Windows 10 support will continue until 14 October 2025. The Upgrade of Windows 11 from Windows 10 is cost free. But, all Windows 10 machines are not able to upgrade it. Only Windows 10 current versions PCs and meet the minimum requirements will be able to upgrade. If you would like verify it, download and run the PC Health check app.
PCs with Windows 11:
Windows 11 will support all favorite brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc, and all famous processor brands like AMD, Intel etc. PCs that comes with Windows 11 pre-installed will be available later this year.
