Neeva - An ad free search
In recent
times, when we are searching about something in google or any other search
engine, most of the result is only ads or paid results. According to a study
from SparkToro, between 2016 and 2018, the click-through-rate of paid search
ads on mobile devices increased by nearly 70%. There have been several changes
to Google search results to favor ads. Useful search results were pushed down
the page to squeeze in more advertisements, and privacy was sacrificed for
online tracking tools to keep tabs on what ads people were seeing. Here we
welcome the search engine named “NEEVA” without any ads and paid search
results.
Neeva:
Neeva is an ad-free and private search engine that requires a subscription to use. It can be linked to personal accounts like Microsoft Office, Dropbox, or Google. Outside of just searching the web, users are also able to search their personal documents such as emails, presentations, and more.
The company was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Mountain View, CA, by Sridhar Ramaswamy (ex-SVP of Ads at Google) and Vivek Raghunanthan (ex-VP of Monetization at YouTube). Neeva gives you a private, ad-free search experience with only real results.
Features:
Your results should be just what you want to see, so they're committed to being 100% ad-free. You can use Neeva across all devices, browsers, or even via neeva’s own iOS app.
PRIVACY:
Neeva promises that they never, ever share our data with anyone anymore and you can search with incognito search anonymously.
Neeva browser extension is compatible for all major browsers like Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.
Choose the retailers you love and news sources you want to see results from. You can stay up to date with everything from your stocks picks to the status of your packages on your personal homepage.
Subscription:
Neeva, unlike Google, goes ad-free by charging users $5 a month. First three month for free, after that you will be pay for it. Results mostly come from Microsoft Corp's (MSFT. O) Bing, though users also can search some personal files. Google for years has said websites benefit because previews lead to visitors, who can be shown ads or upsold. Neeva is currently available in United States. In India, it will available by next year.
